Noir
The glamour begins after dark.
Noir represents an entirely new interpretation of our South Beach collection — one inspired by the sophistication, mystery and elegance that descend upon Miami after sunset.
At its center is a new dial, co-designed by independent designer & illustrator, Bjoern Altmann . A high-gloss black dial provides the canvas for a new set of white, Art Deco numerals that introduce an elegant new typographic character. A gilt minute and seconds track brings just a touch of warmth — reminiscent of the golden glow of Miami's hotels and cocktail lounges after dark.
The architecture of South Beach remains. The mood has completely changed.
Every detail tells a story.
The Case
The iconic rectangular case reimagines an Art Deco classic. Available in classic stainless steel, PVD gold or PVD black, it features contrasting brushed and polished finishing. Three parallel concave troughs run vertically on each side of the dial, similar to the architectural element found on many of South Beach's Art Deco hotels.
The Dial
Created in collaboration with independent designer & illustrator, Bjoern Altmann, Noir transforms the colorful personality of the South Beach - Surf Club into something altogether darker, more sophisticated and more mysterious. A high-gloss black dial, refined Art Deco numerals in white and a minute and seconds track in gilt to add a touch of warmth. The small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock features a spiraling pattern ("snailing") that gives contrast from the rest of the dial.
The Movement
Powered by the La Joux-Perret D100 — a Swiss-made manual winding caliber assembled in the USA. The watch beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and stores 50 hours of power when fully wound.
The Crystal
Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the underside. Sapphire ranks 9 on the Mohs scale — second only to diamond in hardness. The anti-reflective coating ensures clarity in any light.
The Strap
All 3 versions of the Noir come on a luxurious, genuine alligator strap in black, in addition to a mesh/milanese bracelet that matches the case color. Interchangeable with any of BREMOIR's accessory straps via a quick-release pin system.
South Beach
After dark
By day, South Beach is unmistakable. Art Deco façades painted in tropical pastels. Luxurious hotels and posh pool parties. Blue ocean and white sand beaches.
After dark, it becomes something entirely different. Neon signs flicker to life. Cocktails are poured in dimly lit spaces. Jazz and house music carry through crowded clubs and the sound of clinking champagne glasses is part of the nocturnal ambience.
This was the other side of the Age of Art Deco. An era of elegant cocktail lounges and grand hotels. Of jazz clubs, supper clubs, pool halls and nights that stretched well into the morning. Black tie , polished chrome, Cuban cigars and thick cigarette smoke.
It was sophisticated. A little mysterious. And undeniably glamorous. For nearly a century, that spirit has remained a part of South Beach. Today it inspires the South Beach - Noir.
